Playgroup

At Ebenezer Kids International, we welcome tiny toddlers as young as 2 yrs. This program is designed specifically to train fine motor and gross motor skills, even before they begin to hold a pencil. We train the fingers to hold objects through different techniques. We help them to transition from the fisted grip and palmar grip to Tripod grip. We train them to count as objects, pictures, in different sequences, in rows and through building towers. Shaping fingers to hold objects: Static tripod grip - focusing on the thumb and pads of the fingers. Dynamic tripod grip - transitioning to the tips of the first 2 fingers and tucking in the ring finger. Pincer grip - training the thumb and the index finger to pinch together, to pick objects Fine motor skills: Training the eye and the hand to align, to loop, to mold and to build objects Linguistic development: English speaking is trained from Playgroup, through phonics learning Social Development: Playing together is encouraged so that sharing objects becomes a habit. Cognitive development: Identification and memory power practice is done daily to increase intellectual ability Sports Box cricket for young aspiring cricketers, football, throwball and basket ball
